AMS Eijkelkamp Edelman Thread-On Auger, Combination, 2-3/4” Dia

The vaulted design of these augers promotes soil digging and ensures a firm hold on the sample in the auger. Soil samples are guided into the auger body by two vaulted vertical cutting blades. The drilling bits are made from untreated steel to guard against contamination of collected soil samples. The augers feature 5/8” thread-on connections. Use the Coarse Sand Auger in very non-cohesive, dry, sandy soils. The Combination Auger is ideal for use in a variety of soils because it provides a secure hold on sandy material and allows for easy removal of more cohesive mud and clay soils from the auger body. Use the Stony Soil Auger in soils with significant gravel content.
